Project Summary

Williams Creative was contracted by Die, Tool and Mold, Inc (DTM) in February of 2009 to create a static HTML website. DTM, based in Hampton, VA provides contract manufacturing services and was in need of a small company website to outline the services they provide.

After understanding the client’s needs and researching the industry, Williams Creative came up with a website design and shortly thereafter built the website using valid HTML markup and CSS layout. Upon creating the website, the client provided a video of one of their pieces of equipment that they wished to be integrated in the website. Using Flash, Williams Creative converted the video for use on the Internet and installed a video player so that visitors to the website could use the video to understand the capabilities of DTM.

The company already had a hosting agreement in place with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and desired to continue use of their services. Williams Creative familiarized itself with the specifications of this ISP’s web server environment and shortly thereafter launched the DTM website.
